Definition (English)
Automated testing systems run more experiments per quarter, but statistical power per experiment drops as traffic fragments across tests, and marketers make more decisions on weaker evidence than before automation. Velocity becomes an end in itself, and the epistemic quality of the decisions the tests support declines even as the count of decisions rises and stakeholders admire the cadence.
